#1 Think about the presentations and reflect on the projects your classmates presented and the information you listened to. Explain with details and specific information what you learned, what you found interesting, surprising, or shocking about the presentations you heard in class.

The main thing that got me thinking in the presentation was that there are so many problems in the world we dont do much to stop the problems.  The thing that really shocked me most was that there was so many child soldier, and how cruel and how convincing the adults would be to recruit more child soldiers. I really enjoyed Maya’s and Adam’s group because they had great music and they told their information very specifically.  In total everyone did a great job in this presentation.

 #2  What would you change to improve your project/presentation if you were to do the assignment again?

If i did this project again i would choose an IMovie for this project, because at first we wanted to do powerpoint because it was easier but before presenting the project we wanted to use a IMovie. We wanted to use an IMovie because we could’ve add commentary and music and the same time so we wouldnt need to present it.

What new information has emerged?

The information is that Mohd Azlan said it took about 1 hour and 40 minutes to contain the fire, but it was finally took out at 7:00 A.M. in the morning. They are not sure of the losses, but they know that the people that got there houses and shops burned down will be jobless for awhile.

What did you find interesting about this topic?

I found interesting that the father of Eee Ling saved her from such a violent and tragic fire. I also found interesting that one shop could spread to another shop in such a fast period.

What did you like about the initial posting?

I liked how she found her article from a Malaysian online newspaper, because no one ever has current events postings about Malaysia. I liked how she bulleted her who affected and how because it makes it more organized and easier to read. GOOD JOB KAY LYNN I WAS IMPRESSED TO THE MAX :D.

We had question number 2:Discuss whether you feel the U.N.�s power should be increased to have enforcement authority over any nation or should it be decreased to only provide humanitarian aid when asked.

I think U.N. should have more power because more problems will be fixed in this world we live today. Since alot of people are against U.N. now U.N. doesnt have any acces to help the countries that are in need. The people that are against U.N. just read the cridics about U.N. and dont read the good they do to the world, such as helping the African Genocide over diamonds. U.N. needs power also to get acces to help a country, because alot of the governments and presidents did not allow U.N. to enter the countries.

What is the Issue?

The issue is that a suicide bomber in Pakistan blew himself up at a public gathering in northwestern of Pakistan. The bomb killed atleast 28 people and injuring 37, one of the injured people was the Pakistani interior minister and his son. The gathering had about 200 people.

The 28 people that got killed is affected because they were innocent people that didnt do any harm to anyone and were just going to a gathering. the 37 people that got injured because they didnt do anything to deserve to get injured. The Interior Minister because he nearly got killed but the suicide bomber. The Interior’s Ministers son because he also nearly got killed by the suicide bomber.

What would i do if i was directly involved?

If i was directly involved, before any gathering i would have a check up and every person because one or more person(s) could do an act of terrorism.

I thought are whole class had superb speeches. Everyone had wonderful costumes and the speeches were loud and clear so everyone could hear. Since everyone was doing different speeches i learned alot about every single person. I thought it was funny and interesting how nick said that horus had a great battle with set, and horus ripped set testicals off. Nick’s costume was top to notch, after seeing Nick’s costume i knew that i could’ve done a big improvement on my costume. I thought i learned alot of things about pharoahs and gods of egypt. I hope to learn more things about Ancient Egypt.

King Tut speech

Ever heard of the youngest pharaoh in Ancient Egypt. Well he’s here I am at your service. I’m the youngest most spoiled pharaoh in Ancient Egypt, because of my dead father’s money. Ahhh. I’ve been in more books and movies than you had or ever will be, because we all know that I’m so much more popular and better.

Here I am the great King Tut(which meant “Living image of the Aten)! If you don’t know who I am still ill cut your head off!!! Because I am the great Tut and if u don’t know me your life will never be full filled because I’m the best of the bests. I first stepped on this earth on 1341 B.C. I am King Tutankhamen the youngest, most awesomnest pharaoh in all Ancient Egypt. I lived in the great Amarna and that’s where my sacred tomb was built. Since now u know me your life will end perfectly.

I didn’t really do anything important during the Ancient Times, just sitting back and relaxing but u peasants had to work all day!! HAHA. While I watched u being so tired while I’m just being lazy. But in the modern days since Carter, Howard found my tomb in 1922, I’ve became a DIVA!!! I’ve been in more books or movies than you have.

I made Egypt more famous by my totally awesome tomb filled with gold, and it was never looted by any filthy thugs. Since I was so great god decided I should die at a young age (18 years old) because he was jealous of me I mean who wouldn’t. Since Carter, Howard found my tomb they found the youngest pharaoh in Ancient Egypt, “ME”!

So you know we all know practically everything about my life that u will never have because I was so famous and still is because of my fame they made books and movies of me. Because of me I made Egypt more famous, so when ever someone thinks of Egypt they think of me. As you all can see I had a big impact on the modern world. Now go away, and built me 10 pyramids and give me all your gold.

What new info has emerged?

The trade between U.S.A. and North Korea has not happened. They are talking about trading medicine now.

What did I find interesting about this topic?

I find interesting that North Korea won’t accept the trade, because North Korea needs more oil than Nuclear weapons. If i was America i would give North Korea want so they can give America all the Nuclear weapons so they dont bomb any areas around the world.

What did i like about this initial blog posting?

I liked how Micheal typed his “What would I do if I was directly invovled”, because his solution was very wise and fair, so during the trade a possibility of no one getting hurt or killed. Good effort Micheal.

First Question:What would you change about the final product (the wiki you created) if you were to do the assignment again?

I wouldn’t change anything because im quite happy with my wikispace because everyone did our job, and how the homepage looks. But i would change how the backround looks on every page because i want it to get the african feel.

Second Question: Look at some of the other wikis from any class and find a few that you think are done exceptionally well. Tell me the name of the empire and the block, and then explain what you like about their wiki.

I think the Swahili Trading States of block E did a good job with their homepage because they had some humor added to their links to their other pages. They spent alot of time with their research because they have alot of information put on every page and good reasonable information. But they didn’t do good on their creativity because their were no cool text titles on each page or and buttons for the page links.But they did a good job “Thumbs Up” :D.

What is the Issue?

The issue is that more than 60 people have been killed and 150 severly injured after the bombing in Baghdad. The bombs were exploded near the markets in the Iraqi capitals. There were two cars filled with bombs at the Shorja market.

• The families that lost there members or the members that got injured

• The government because he has to try to stop the bombings that keep on occuring in the same areas

Who is affected and how?

The people that were killed are affected because they lost their lives and their innocent. The families that lost their members that died. The people that good injured because they couldve lost a body party or nearly have lost their life.

What would if i do to change if i was directly involved?

i would get guards to search the cars before they enter the markets because most of the bombs were caused by bombs going off by cars. I will go up to every person that looks like a member from a terroist and check if they have any arms.
